How do I upload a bank statement?

Open Upload from the dashboard or Expenses area, then choose an official bank-generated PDF in a supported format. Zempo attempts to extract transaction information for you to review and correct before it feeds summaries or planning tools.

What file formats are supported?

Zempo supports many bank-generated PDF statement formats. Compatibility and extraction accuracy vary by document, and scanned or image-only files may be less reliable. Keep the original statement and review imported information.

How does AI-assisted categorisation work?

Accepted Answer

Merchant names and transaction descriptions can inform suggested categories such as groceries, dining and transport. Suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect, so review and correct them before relying on the result.

Can I work across multiple currencies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Zempo keeps the original currency visible and can also show totals in your preferred reporting currency when exchange-rate data is available. Rates may be delayed or incomplete, so converted amounts are approximate.

What is included in each plan?

Accepted Answer

Free supports a small set of statement uploads, core planning tools and a will inventory with readiness checks. Standard adds ongoing uploads, exports, investment tracking and your will document. Premium includes the Standard tools for up to four household members, including you. Pricing and the in-app subscription screen show the current capability list.

What does the Will Writer include on my plan?

On any plan you can build your estate inventory from the records in Zempo, name executors, guardians and beneficiaries, and see readiness checks. Standard and Premium include previewing, downloading and updating the will document. On Free you can buy the document on its own for 12 months; a DIFC Full Will document is a separate purchase. A document you have finalised stays available to download after a plan or purchase ends. The Will Writer is a drafting tool, not legal advice. Signing, witnessing and any registration are yours to complete, and court fees are separate.

How does household access work?

Accepted Answer

Household sharing requires Standard or above. Members use their own profiles, while roles and permissions determine which shared information they can access. Standard supports up to two members including you, and Premium up to four. Free is for personal use. Review current controls in Settings, then Household.

Is my financial information private?

Accepted Answer

You can upload statements without entering online-banking login credentials. Read the Privacy Policy for information about collection, use, retention, service-provider access and legally required disclosures.

Eligible exports are available from the privacy and data controls shown in Settings. Scope and formats depend on your plan and the information present. Review the requested scope and protect exported files after they leave Zempo.
